I love to shop, and I really love great deals. At Ross you can find the latest styles of clothes, shoes, purses, and accessories at affordable prices.

Last week I had the wonderful opportunity to review the new Ross Store on the Las Vegas Strip! The day I visited, the store was so busy (everything is busy on the Strip). I spent over an hour browsing around this huge two-story shop. I appreciated how everything was so organized.  Even though the store was very crowded, I could easily find what I was looking for.

Downstairs was devoted to women’s clothes, shoes and handbags. While upstairs was the men’s clothes and shoes, lingerie, and luggage.

I selected this really cute pair of stripped, capri pants and a cream colored shirt to match. I also picked out a nice black belt for my husband.

I’ve been on a hunt for a cute dress to wear to a friend’s upcoming wedding in September. I recently found what I thought would be THE dress. The pictures online looked adorable and the price was right up my alley. Super cheap at $45!

I’ve noticed at many of the weddings I attend, most people are wearing dark colors, lots of black. To me, it looks like a funeral! Aren’t weddings supposed to be about celebration? I understand not wanting to upstage the bride, but really, can anyone upstage the bride when she’s the one in the giant bright white GOWN?

So anyways, my dress arrived and I put it on and WOW…is it ever poofy. And froufy. And…I’m wondering if it verges on FLASHY. I’m a little self-conscious now. I’ve had two votes saying it’s not too flashy, but I don’t know. Maybe I need three votes? Four? Not sure how many I need yet until I’m fine with wearing it to the wedding.

The dress is Hell Bunny brand, which I’ve come to learn, makes the CUTEST dresses I’ve ever seen. And unfortunately, it’s hard to tell from the picture, but there’s a bright pink tulle petticoat underneath the dress. (which is where the super-poof is coming from). I feel like a ballerina when I twirl!

Shoes shall be my next adventure.

What shoes would go good with this casual dress?

Okay so like most clothes, lingerie of course comes in plus sizes. Granted the selection may not be a great or quite as sexy, but it is there. And of course like most clothes you can find discount lingerie. However where is this stuff to be found? The supply is not as prevalent as it is in smaller sizes. I have yet to see a Victoria’s Secret type of store for plus sizes, although I am sure one probably exists somewhere.

Well, if I was looking for discount plus size lingerie there are a few places I would look right away. First of all, as I am sure just about everyone in the United States, and much of the rest of the world, knows, Wal Mart sells lingerie. I mean, why not they sell everything else. So anyway, they do of course have plus sizes. I believe the section is even labeled as such. The selection is not that of a Victoria’s Secret or a Fredrick’s of Hollywood, but never the less it is there, and this is truly discount plus size lingerie.

Of course I am sure there are other stores that sell the same type of stuff. I have to say I am not sure if Lane Bryant or Fashion Bug Plus have lingerie sections, however as these are plus size stores, any lingerie they have would of course also be in plus sizes.

Now of course there is always the internet. There are store advertising online that ship internationally and domestically in the United States. There are both store devoted only to plus sizes and then there are those catering to both sizes. Some of these stores are simply for lingerie and others are for both lingerie and other clothes. I actually saw one that was advertising “stripper shoes” as well, so I have a feeling if you are looking for something a little more risqué this may be the place to go. Whatever you are looking for I am sure it is out there somewhere it is just about finding the right discount plus size lingerie venue for you.
